I have worked in the Fashion and Sterling Silver Jewelry Markets for over 20 years with various organizations, including my own company Jewelbox Designs for 3 years, 2005-2008. I appeared on HSN in 2008 with a series of shows for an exclusive jewelry line called “Jewelbox by Lola Dee.”

I plan to use my blog to post trends and information relating to Fashion and Bridge Jewelry. My career has been mostly on the East Coast, but now as a resident of Southern California I have access to resources that may offer a different perspective. I hope this blog will allow its readers access to interesting information and inspire people to patronize the designers I will feature, and the places I visit.

As an Independent Consultant to the Fashion and Bridge  Jewelry market, I imagine this blog will help me in reaching new clients and customers, and open up new career opportunities.

I am excited to be teaching at FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) beginning in January of 2011 in their Jewelry Design Program. The new course entitled ” The Business of Jewelry Design” will allow students to explore the business side of Jewelry, adequately preparing them to launch a new collection and to manage their own business.

  1. Are you on Facebook or can your blog link to Facebook?

    • Hi Mary,
I actually keep my facebook page for friends and family.
I suggest you stay linked with me through linked in, as I reserve that for professional use and there is a link to my blog there.
